MANGO CHOCOLATE

MANGO CHOCOLATE

  • 1 ½ cups dried mango
  • ¾ cup cacao butter
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup young coconut flesh. You can buy this in the freezer section from the company Pure Organic

Directions

  1. Place the dried mango into a jar or container, cover with water and let it soak for a few hours or overnight
  2. Liquify the cacao butter by placing the jar into hot water
  3. Place all the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend well
  4. Place parchment paper in a 10” square pan
  5. Pour the mixture into the pan and freeze
  6. Once frozen remove from freezer and let sit for a few minutes, then cut into little squares or any shape you like.
  7. Keep frozen and serve from the freezer.

For a chocolate coated option:

Melt baking chocolate and cover with a thin layer on the bottom of the pan

Freeze, then add the mango chocolate on top and freeze again

Repeat with a thin layer of brown chocolate on top

For chocolate molds:

Put a thin layer of chocolate into a chocolate mold and freeze.

Add the mango chocolate and freeze

Cover with a thin layer of chocolate and freeze again.

Enjoy this healthy mango filled chocolate out of the freezer

For another option:

Cut the mango chocolate into the desired shape, insert a toothpick in the center and dip into melted baking chocolate
