QUINOA FLAT BREADS

QUINOA FLAT BREADS

 

·         1 ½ cups quinoa

·         ½ cup water

·         1 tsp. salt

·         1 large onion

·         2 cups chopped vegetables

 

Directions

 

1.  Sprout quinoa by soaking it in double the amount of water for 2-4 hours. Drain and rinse well. Let it sprout for about a day, until little shoots are seen. Rinse and drain approximately every 8 hours. Sprouting is optional. 2.  Blend all the ingredients.

3.  Place approximately ½ cup of the batter on a lined cookie sheet. Flatten with wet hands and spread into approximately 5” rounds, about ¼ inch thick.

4.  Bake at 325 for about 25 minutes. They’re done when there’s a slight firmness to the touch.
