SESAME ROLLS
- 3 cups sesame seeds
- 1 ½ cup honey -raw unfiltered is your best choice
- ¾ cup ground gold flax seeds
- ½ cup ground pumpkin or sunflower seeds
- 1 ¼ cup ground almond or any nut of your choice
- 1 ½ cups shredded coconut
- 1 cup tahini
- ¼ cup water
Directions
- Combine all ingredients, mix well.
- Form into rolls on wax or parchment paper and freeze
- Once frozen cut into slices
- Serve from freezer
This recipe has a variety of seeds and nuts. It’s especially high in sesame seeds which are one of the highest sources of food calcium. You’ll also get a nice share of essential fatty acids as well as protein.
You can use hulled or un-hulled sesame seeds for this recipe.
