SESAME ROLLS

  • 3 cups sesame seeds
  • 1 ½ cup honey -raw unfiltered is your best choice
  • ¾ cup ground gold flax seeds
  • ½ cup ground pumpkin or sunflower seeds
  • 1 ¼ cup ground almond or any nut of your choice
  • 1 ½ cups shredded coconut
  • 1 cup tahini
  • ¼ cup water

Directions

  1. Combine all ingredients, mix well.
  2. Form into rolls on wax or parchment paper and freeze
  3. Once frozen cut into slices
  4. Serve from freezer

This recipe has a variety of seeds and nuts. It’s especially high in sesame seeds which are one of the highest sources of food calcium. You’ll also get a nice share of essential fatty acids as well as protein.

You can use hulled or un-hulled sesame seeds for this recipe.
