SPICY CASHEWS

  • 6 cups raw cashews soaked for 4-6 hours, rinse well (or any nut)
  • 3 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. ginger powder
  • 1 tsp. turmeric powder
  • 1 ½ tsp. salt

Directions

  1. Place-soaked nuts into a bag and add lemon juice shaking to mix well
  2. Mix all spices and salt, add to nuts and mix well to coat all nuts
  3. Put the nuts on teflex sheets and dehydrate at 105-110 degree for 24 hours or until dry. You may need to dehydrate for additional 18/24 hours for it to get crunchy
For oven use, turn oven on lowest and place nuts on parchment paper lined baking pan. Check after an hour if done. Keep checking since it will take less time in the oven to get crispy.
